Avalon - With regard to the income and wealth gaps in the U.S.: Consider the values and principles that Jesus espoused. How would Jesus view a society in which the wealthiest profit far beyond reason at the expense of the rest of the populace? Would Jesus embrace a "worship the wealthy" mentality? Matthew 19:24 says it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God. Sounds like Marxism?
