Avalon - In reference to the current situation with certain books in our school systems around the country. What I find totally appalling is when school boards won't allow parents to read excerpts from some of these books because they find it inappropriate in a public meeting, yet they defend these same books being in elementary and middle school libraries, freely available to young children.
Do any spouters find this odd?
