Avalon - In a recent interview, Doug Baldwin stated that some NFL owners have told their players to not protest during the national anthem. Now, that may sound like the players' rights are being violated, but think about it. They are "on the clock" when protesting. For the millions of dollars that they get paid, if the boss told them to bay at the moon, they should start howling. If they outrage enough fans to hurt the 'bottom" line they are jeopardizing the owners' businesses. I agree that they have a right to protest, but looking at it from this point of view, I think the boss has a responsibility.
