Avalon - At a rally last week, Ilhan Omar tried to disregard her history of anti-Semitism by emphasizing Bernie Sanders' Jewish heritage. "I am proud to stand with the son of a Jewish refugee who survived genocide," Omar stated. However, as usual, she was wrong. Sanders' mother was born in the U.S., long before WWI, and his father came to the U.S. from Poland in 1921, 11 years before Hitler came to power and 17 years before the Kristallnacht, the beginning of the downward spiral to the Holocaust. She can't hide her anti-Semitism behind her socialist facade.
