Avalon - The problem is right there under our noses. It's the AP test in History. It seems this test allows interested students to skip some required History courses in college. There has been quite enough skipping of the lessons of History. The aftermath of the Iraq wars looked a lot like Vietnam. This pandemic looks a lot like prior pandemics. The students taking AP History are typically our future politicians, attorneys, history teachers, etc. All need to learn more of the lessons of the past with no shortcuts. I propose a 20 year moratorium on AP History. Then we'll see what we learn from it.
