Avalon - Over the last few years, I am saddened that a lot of the store fronts in Avalon are no longer independent stores but being taken by Real Estate offices and Developers. While Real Estate and Developers have their place in business, the town is quickly losing charm and the appeal of the family beach town it once was. Without retail businesses, the town loses its draw for tourists during non-beach days and seasons.
