Avalon - The NYT in an Op Ed column remarked that the good side of the pandemic was that it brought certain radical ideas to fruition: releasing inmates from prisons and forgiving debts. Isn’t that sad. We have a society that believes that we should not be indebted, either to a society which we have harmed or to a lender who we had promised to repay.
