Avalon - Nowhere in Avalon is the speeding traffic as bad as between 28th and 32nd streets on First Avenue. Talk about an area where there is the highest percentage of children, bicycles, rollerbladers, joggers, trucks (yes, huge trucks), pizza delivery vehicles, cars, trailers, etc. Yet, for some reason, the police never enforce the speed limit. And, to make it even more dangerous, they have narrowed the street significantly to put in a bike lane all while not addressing the speeding. Sounds like a summer filled with accidents.
