Avalon - As a non-resident homeowner, reading the July 17 article, "Second Homeowners - Pay but No Say" hit a raw nerve. A handful of folks in Avalon direct this community while the bulk of the payers get no say. It's not fair. Then I turned to Spout Off and read that a Zoning and Planning Board member was appointed in Avalon who doesn't hold title to a property here. That is outrageous. That person sits and directs, and has no skin in the game.
