Avalon - It is a shame that so many of the trash cans that our homeowners put out on the street this week blew over in the heavy winds. Many residents try to pick up the trash that ends up all over, but it seems like a never ending battle. Some towns pick up trash and recycling containers at the side of the building, where the homeowner has put a small, visible letter "T" for trash, on whichever side the containers are kept, and it is a really nice, clean system. The streets are cleaner from less trash, and it looks nice not having trash and recycling containers in front of homes for one to three days.
