Avalon - It is refreshing to see Stone Harbor taking action on a solution to the steel poles. Avalon officials should take note and follow the ongoing feasibility study undertaken by Stone Harbor for relocating the electrical lines underground, codenamed the "Mott project." With the upgrade of sewer, gas lines and long-overdue paving, burial of electric service was the best option. Now, the first impression of Avalon as you enter is not of the charming town we once knew.
