And it's an exercise in hypocrisy. Trump is raising money from his supporters supposedly to fund his lawyers' legal efforts, but in fact some 75% of the contributions are going to his future political campaigns. The courts have repeatedly rebuffed his lawyers' claims as baseless and absurd.
