Take the South Fork Wind Farm Project in NY, a much smaller project than planned for NJ. While some invertebrates are projected to recover within two years, some like sponges will take a decade or longer. But we can live without sponges, right? What about Right Whales? When you destroy entire populations within an ecosystem other species fill in and long term impacts have not been studied. Anywhere. Those “artificial reefs” Orsted promotes? Minor benefit according to BOEM.
