I was wrong.

Avalon - I was wrong. The newly constructed track at the Avalon Elementary School truly was a worthwhile expense. The number of runners pulled off the streets at the end of this summer after its completion was phenomenal. Whether or not the cost was funded by the city or other county funding source, there could have been no better use. Kudos to the efforts of all involved. I can only hope Avalon could next fund a bicycle velodrome to pull all the bikes off the road as well.
