Avalon - I was at the Icona beach in Avalon this Saturday meeting some friends from out of town. I can’t believe how it’s changed! Hotel umbrellas and lounge chairs everywhere. Also, I didn’t realize you could drink alcohol on the beaches in front of the hotels! People had coolers of beer, wine and mixed drinks and one group sitting in the surf was passing around a bottle. It so nice you don’t have to hide anything. My friends were getting their drinks from the beach bar. I’m glad it’s changed, just hope they get beach waiters and waitresses soon like other resorts.
