Avalon - As I was driving along Dune Drive July 28, I approached the green traffic light at 25th Street, but had to slow down to a complete stop because of crossing bicycles and pedestrians. Pedestrians and bikes need to understand being at a crosswalk does not give them the automatic right of way. Please obey traffic lights and make sure all traffic has stopped completely before crossing. I have seen more than a few close calls by pedestrians not making sure all oncoming traffic has stopped before crossing. Be careful out there. Drivers, slow down.
