Avalon - I think a Court House spouter missed the point about secular Christmas' intent. Commercialization is terrible, but go ahead and commercialize Christmas. Not some nebulous winter event called the "holidays." It is a celebration of Jesus' birth. Sell stuff all you want, either admit it is a "Christmas sale" or just go on with business as usual. It is a Christian celebration, don't try to dress it up with "father Winter" like the Soviets did. Merry Christmas.
