Avalon - I sincerely hope the Borough Council finally decides to enact appropriate ordinances with respect to the activities of contractors here. Hardly a day goes by where we don't have some subcontractor's truck blocking our driveway and then being unpleasant when asked to move the vehicle. The borough should also require that dumpsters be on the property under construction, not in the street. Devices to catch debris of power saws are necessary. No building should be allowed from Memorial to Labor Days. Then, the police should vigorously enforce the regulations. Avalon is a victim of its own success.
