Avalon - I read where "experts" in South Jersey claim ocean temperatures are rising. I have been tracking ocean water temps as reported in local papers every month for the past 23 years, and the yearly average hasn't moved more than 1 degree Fahrenheit up or down. They also claim that is resulting in flooding. The flooding is a result of inshore channels getting choked by beach replenishment sand. Sand pumped on beach moves with tides/wind and ends up in two places: It ends up building Wildwood beach and choking our inshore waterways, and as a result, many homes and roads get flooded, especially on moon tide.
