Avalon - I read with disdain the recent spout from OC re: the OC museum and how Calico Jack was not represented. I posted a few months back about how Calico Jack took my great grandfather's life many decades ago. Now, this person wants Calico Jack to be heralded in a museum? Heresy I say. This pirate should not be celebrated, and the OC spouter should be forced to walk the plank.

Moderator's Note:
According to Wikpedia, "John Rackham, commonly known as Calico Jack, was an English pirate captain operating in the Bahamas and in Cuba during the early 18th century. His nickname was derived from the calico clothing that he wore, while Jack is a nickname for 'John.'"
