Avalon - I hope the parents of the little girl who rode across traffic in both directions July 29 read this. She was riding a bicycle which means that she has to stop for stop signs and red lights just like a car. I was going slow enough not to hit her but I sounded my horn loudly and she looked at me like I was crazy. Oncoming traffic saw and heard me and stopped for her too. Please, mom and dad, tell her that she is not a pedestrian when riding her bike. Think of how bad all of our lives would have been if I had run over her.
