Avalon - I have recently received several flyers for the election for State Assembly. I have to take issue with the pandering that the Democratic party is doing with their candidates. Showing Andrzejcak walking with Van Drew in shorts to emphasize his prosthesis while Van Drew is in long pants, smacks of exploitation. We are eternally grateful to all our veterans who have served our country but we must evaluate the person on their accomplishments and not on sentimentality. We have to stop electing people because they are black or white or man or woman, but on the basis of who will do the best job.
