Avalon - I do believe "Obama's numbers" about the Clean Power Plan. However, they're not his numbers. They are estimates from EPA scientists based on real-life data. But they are estimates. So let's say that they are overestimated by 2X. Is the Avalon spouter questioning the numbers saying that he or she would have no problem if one or more of their loved ones were among the reduced numbers of premature deaths, heart attacks or asthma attacks? Here's another estimate: $4 in health benefits for every $1 invested in the Clean Power Plan. Even if it's just $2 to $1, that's a good benefit/cost ratio.
