Avalon - I am not an Avalon resident, but I have been a builder and developer for over 25 years. I would like to suggest the contractors form a committee to address concerns of the property owners and vice versa. I have seen this many times, and people have the right to have a house built and workers have the right to earn a living, but if there isn’t some compromise, ultimately the people who pay the taxes and elect the officials will win out. One may disagree, but history and personal experience tell me without some meaningful dialogue, the workers could end up with a lot of time to fish.
