Avalon - I am amused that some frequent commenters never seem to spout. We all know that comments don't make it into the print version. That would tend to indicate that these commenters, like so many other folks today, live in/on the Internet; books and newspapers are unnecessary. I also find it amusing when they try to assert their intellectual superiority by instructing us on the rules of logic. The Spout Off section provides entertainment and may be thought provoking but I don't think most of us need it to stroke our egos, but it seems that some folks do.
