Avalon - Here are the average number of jobs created per year in office, based on Department of Labor statistics for the total number of jobs created during the administrations of Carter: 2,585,000; Reagan: 2,000,000; George H.W. Bush: 648,000; Clinton: 2,800,000; George W. Bush: 140,000; Obama: 864,000. Note that job creation was greater under Democrats Carter and Clinton, than under the three Republican administrations, and in spite of unconscionable obstructionism by congressional Republicans, more jobs have been created per year under Obama than under either Bush administration.
