Avalon - The heavy trucks carrying sludge from Stone Harbor are currently driving down Dune Drive with their load because Ocean Drive is blocked in some areas for repairs. I would like to suggest that the borough makes this a permanent route because Ocean Drive cannot take this constant pounding of large trucks. It makes the houses shake and causes the streets to collapse. Dune Drive because it is so wide can absorb the weight without having all of the bad side effects for the homes.
