Avalon - Has Avalon considered parking certificates, or some method of restricting the overwhelming number of vehicles on the island? There is no doubt that unrestricted growth has crippled this once idyllic town. The replacement of three-bedroom summer homes with six-to-eight bedroom residences was a mistake. Stacked parking is not effective. The realtors, architects, builders and unrestrained owners have squandered this town's most precious resource ... open space. I believe that the Zoning and Planning Board are at fault. Homes turned into wedding destinations? Meta analysis of data does not lie.
