Avalon - The handicap accessible beach on 8th St. in Avalon has matting that only goes about 50 feet. For the beach to be truly accessible to all, please extend the matting a few hundred yards to the hard sand. The sand is so deep and soft, it is nearly impossible to push wheelchairs any further than where the matting ends.
