Avalon - Gun advocates think the Paris attacks prove that gun-control laws don't work. In fact, they prove the opposite. The terrorists were not able to obtain their weapons in France, so they had to go outside the country. The lesson is not that gun-control laws don't work, it's that the channels the terrorists used must be shut down. In stark contrast, the Muslim terrorists in San Bernardino, as well as the shooters in the Sandy Hook, Aurora, Virginia Tech, etc., massacres got their guns right here in the U.S. Thanks go to the NRA's any-gun-for-anyone, any time, any place, any way philosophy.
