Faith works.

Avalon - Faith works. From almost any perspective, there are signs that a lack of faith, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, etc., is at least partly responsible for our deteriorating society. Faith in, love for or fear of a higher power does more to deter bad actions than all of our secular laws or hollow humanism. The proliferation of suicide is horrifying. Has life gotten that bad, or is it that we have no fear of angering a higher power or eternal damnation that so many people choose a permanent solution to a temporary problem? Where there is no faith, it is hard to find hope and charity.
