Avalon - By failing to enact and codify deed restrictions when vacating Borough land and giving it to the prior owners of the Avalon Anchorage, Avalon dropped the ball. Careless legal work then coupled with scant oversight now as legal bills multiply add up to disaster. Having lost in Superior and Appellate court, it's time for the Borough to admit mistakes, audit all bills, and answer to taxpayers. Giving away public land without restriction and continuing protracted legal battles to rectify sloppy work is incompetent.
