Avalon - Every time we read a Spout complaining about the cost of living, we are puzzled. The Spouters don't realize that they could better afford goods and services if they had not gladly accepted Trump's and the Republican party's paltry tax cuts of, figuratively speaking, hot dogs and hamburgers. All the while lavishing "steak and lobster" tax cuts on millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations. Trump and the Republican party, in fact, counted on the rest of us accepting the crumbs. Someone said, "We have met the enemy, and they are us".
