Avalon - The educational system nationwide on the whole is abominable. Not even middle of the pack in industrialized nations. The Head of the department of education means very little. Having seen up close K thru 12 in Bergan and Morris counties and the system here in Middle Township the difference is night and day. It has very little to do with the Teachers in both areas, but the Parents and the Money Spent. Schools are an investment in the counties teaching the wealthiest students. in Cape May education is a cost.
Parents expectations for their children are again a night & day comparison.
