During WWII patriotic Americans willingly made major sacrifices

Avalon - During WWII patriotic Americans willingly made major sacrifices to support the war effort. Now we're fighting a different war, a war to save the planet, and we're asked to take a small step to help - a step that won't win the war, but will support the effort. We must replace incandescent light bulbs with energy-saving ones. But some Americans complain and think that it's too great a sacrifice. How pathetic. The moaners and complainers are selfish and unAmerican. If their attitude had prevailed during WWII we might very well have lost that war.
