Avalon - Driving 75 piles into the ground on 30th Street Aug. 6 at a spec home construction site shook the homeowners, renters, bikers, walkers and anyone wishing to vacation in the height of the summer. Anywhere nearby and 30th happens to be the main one-way street to the ocean and new kiddie park. How was pile driving missed as not allowed under Avalon’s new and improved construction ordinances?
