Perhaps the feeding of flying wild animals should stop too?" Humans don't do that to preserve the various species of birds. They do that to attract birds close to their homes and gardens. In a sense, they are taking the birds captive, so the humans can enjoy their presence. This is far different from feeding other wild animals, most especially feral cats.
