Avalon - Certain parishioners of Maris Stella Church (of St. Brendan the Navigator Parish) were allowed to run the parish under the previous pastor. Nothing wrong with that because that was the previous pastor's style of management. The new pastor is a totally hands-on manager. It is not that the new pastor doesn't know how the parish works, he, in his capacity and authority, is choosing to do it his way which, of course, is his prerogative. If the Maris Stella parishioners don't like the way things are being run, there are other parishes locally that may better suit their needs.
