Avalon - Carly Fiorina left Hewlitt-Packard with a $40 million golden parachute, after its stock fell more than 50 percent during her term as CEO. With an estimated wealth some years ago of $30 to $120 million, she and her husband have a Georgetown condo, a 14-room estate in the wealthy enclave of Los Altos, Calif., and a 70-foot yacht. She didn't bother to vote for 10 years when she lived in New Jersey, and she voted in less than half of the 18 elections in California in which she could participate. She fired 14,500 workers under the "Jobs Creation Act."
