Avalon - A Cape May spouter fears for our country failing and bemoans the fact that "we are left with the likes of Clinton or Trump" but does not mention a preferable candidate. It takes courage to run for president, especially for candidates who are in their 60s or older. At this age, they've earned the right to not even have to get up for work each morning but instead are logging endless hours on the campaign trail. Clinton is attacked from all sides, and now Trump is too, by his own party. Most likely they are not gluttons for punishment but must believe they can make a difference.
