Black Cactus establishment.

Avalon - Black Cactus establishment. Back in 1965-66 when I first came to town (yes I'm that old) There was a Black Eagle bar I believe where "Jacks" was. Family I was visiting referred to it as the 'dirty bird'. When " Jacks" shut down after I was working with the cable company, the Liquor license was "pocketed" and has now become the Black Cactus. Just curious of any other memories of this. Would make a great memory of early Avalon. I have more stories of those early years of driving down OD to Stone Harbor with ONLY a laundromat around 65th st . Any more comments and don't forget the Bongo room ?
