Avalon - Avalon is transforming - has transformed - from a vacation destination for families of relatively modest means into an enclave for the wealthy. One consequence of this transformation will be that Avalon businesses will feel free to charge higher prices, knowing that the wealthy will pay them. But it's not good news for year-round residents, many of them seniors on fixed incomes. They will be inclined to do business offshore. Will Avalon administration do something to help seniors? Tax relief perhaps?
