Avalon - To Avalon Spouter re; the need for a downtown Euro-style hotel - 3 cheers ! there are a lot of us who have changed from con to pro over the last 2-plus years with loss of Sea Grill, both Tonio's, Sylvester's, Kudo's, Grand Moon, Tortilla Flats. This is not positive change. A hospitality-based business in town with an up-scale small bar & restaurant would be great! We agree - the Reeds in SH has attracted new places to eat that are open beyond season for meetings & events. Avalon is becoming a ghost town. So sad. Do you really want more 5-bedroom townhouses & more parking congestion?
