Avalon - Another first for Avalon: $48,700 cost per student in our school system. Number one in New Jersey, including both private and public schools. We need a school system, but at what cost? The unlimited-spending borough council strikes again. Time for a change.

According to njspotlight.com: Avalon’s 2012-2013 cost per pupil was $43,775, rank in group was 71. Stone Harbor’s 2012-2013 cost per pupil was $33,301, rank in group was 70. Borough Council has no oversight regarding Board of Education spending.
