Avalon - Although I totally agree with Mr Obama about this graduating class (and all younger people) need to grow up faster than previous generations, I doubt we have the same idea of that. Starting in the late 70's, early 80's there has been a, I'm not sure what to call it, but, instead of teaching civics ,the teachers started to toy with the idea of indoctrination of the student body, which worked pretty well because the parents were busy trying to make a better life for their kids then they had. Now most people are seeing first hand how that isn't jiving with the American dream
