Avalon - About the desecration in the high dunes...where was the zoning officer, the code enforcement officer and the environmental commission? Two of the above are paid positions with a responsibility to do their job. The environmental commission, not so much, as they are mayoral appointees, but still. What happened to a system of checks and balances? Avalon must do better.
