Avalon - 17 people spoke and educated the council about how wonderful Armacost Park and Bird Refuge is. All 17residents /taxpayers said do not spend $1 Million to change it in any way. No one, 0, spoke in support of the budget line item, which the council proposed. To be clear, NOT ONE person. The speaking citizens were wonderful and very, very thorough. They cited environmental experts, who had no financial stake in the proposal either way, and who said that this Park and Bird Refuge is great and it should be left alone. Things that make you go hmmmm? Come on Avalon Government-Wake Up!
