Avalon - At 11:30 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, I heard the fire siren sound. This did not upset me, and the noise did not disturb my family. The thoughts that entered my head were thank God we have wonderful men and women who will stop meal preparation or other items addressing their household to respond to a fire call on Thanksgiving Day. Thank you for what you do day in and day out in Avalon.
