Why should the replacement of Supreme Court Justice Scalia be the only issue that must wait until the next presidential election? Deport illegal immigrants? No need to address that now. Defunding Planned Parenthood can wait for another half year or so. Repeal Obamacare? Put that on the back burner. These issues and others can all wait until the people have their say when we elect the next president and members of Congress, just as Republicans argue with regard to a Supreme Court nominee.
