What a shame that Avalon has allowed things to get so out of hand. The town was a mess over the holiday weekend, no police presence anywhere when needed, taggers were no where to be found, kids openly drinking on the beach, using the dunes as their personal bathroom, disgusting! Yet, the cops were busy writing tickets for minor offenses such as parking too far from the curb! Maybe the cops should walk the beaches on busy holidays and the mayor and council could join them to show a presence and set a tone for what is OK and not OK in Avalon.
